FlareForward
For patients
Living with an inflammatory rheumatic condition is more than medication. FlareForward is the part your prescription can't cover.
What you can expect
From your home
All sessions are virtual. No clinic travel required — you attend live-virtual sessions from wherever you are, on any device.
A certified clinician
You work with the same certified exercise physiologist or physiotherapist throughout your programme. They know your baseline and your goals.
Weekly check-ins
Short validated questionnaires track how you're feeling week to week. Your protocol adapts if your scores change.
Measurable outcomes
At programme end you receive a personal outcomes summary: how your functional scores changed from baseline to completion.

Common questions
How do I get started with FlareForward?
FlareForward is currently available through pharma Patient Support Programmes, employer benefits plans, and by referral from your rheumatologist. If you're unsure whether FlareForward is available to you, contact us and we'll find out together.
Do I need to have a diagnosis to participate?
Yes. FlareForward programmes are designed for people with a diagnosed inflammatory rheumatic disease. A diagnosis from a rheumatologist or specialist is required before enrolment.
What equipment do I need?
Most FlareForward sessions require minimal equipment — a stable internet connection, a webcam, and a small amount of floor space. Some protocols recommend resistance bands or light dumbbells, which your exercise therapist will discuss with you in the intake call.
What if I have a flare during the programme?
FlareForward protocols are designed to adapt around flares. If you report significantly increased symptoms on a weekly check-in, your exercise therapist will modify the session intensity or suggest a rest day. Severe flares are escalated to your care coordinator, who can liaise with your rheumatologist.
Is FlareForward covered by insurance?
Coverage varies by plan. FlareForward is currently funded through pharma PSPs and some employer health and wellness plans. We are working to expand insurer coverage. Ask your benefits provider or contact us to check.
Is my data private?
Yes. All health data collected through FlareForward is stored in Canada, compliant with PIPEDA and PHIPA. Your personal health information is never sold or shared with pharma partners without your explicit consent.
Not sure if FlareForward is available to you?
